Research Interests:
Current projects include designing, building and modeling a Near-Field Scanning Optical Microscope (NSOM). Goals for this project are to utilize a the NSOM instrument in conjunction with a tuneable Near-Infrared source to collect Near-IR images of samples over time in order to determine chemical changes due to stimulus.
