Hours per week Example: Mon-Fri: 8a-3p. 2-4+ hour blocks per day for a flexible schedule of 10-20 hours/week. (Students must commit to work two semesters)

Job Summary	This position is for someone with skills in conducting background research and writing for proposals, publications and presentations, and lecture notes. Must be able to organize meetings and meeting minutes where such items are written. Much of the research is in the area of chemistry and biology, and some collaboration with personnel in labs is necessary. Representative assignments include: Reviewing/editing manuscripts and proposals written by others Writing sections of papers and proposals Cleaning up graphics for papers Scanning papers Editing Organizing meetings online Library research and PDF management Filling in forms pages Grading (with an answer key)
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities	Must be able to write well using Windows and PCs. Must use wireless networking with notebook computers, instant messaging, and cell phones to stay in touch with co-workers via e-mail and phone throughout the day. Must have some experience coding in HTML and be able to handle Photoshop, Dreamweaver, MS Office. Must have own car and driver's license for transporting materials and equipment during working hours, and computer for online tasks.
Skills Example: REQUIRED: 6+ months phone experience; office/clerical experience; ability to work efficiently; good attention to detail; dependability.
